"First up is Maine’s Ogre. They’re a winning mix of classic doom and classic rock, and their two contributions give a better understanding as to what a power trio should sound like.
Pennsylvania’s Blood Red take a half decade step past Ogre, adding an early to mid-‘80’s metal sound.
Regarding Connecticut’s Upwards of Endtime, I suppose the best way of describing them would be to ask you to imagine Iron Maiden somewhere between Killers and Number of the Beast fronted by Jello Biafra. There’s a rousing, galloping quality to their two tracks. They’re definitely the most metal of the three.
If you’re a fan of classic rock, doom, and metal, my advice is to grab yourself a copy of this (but only if you have a record player."

Got the last 120 or so (black colored vinyl)copies from Phil Swanson to sell via NVS. Upwards Of Endtime was Phil's band prior to Vestal Claret, Seamont, Hour Of 13 etc and this release was released via Phil's label Swaying Ball in 2006.
